Chapel

For the installation:'Chapel'
Vansteenkiste started from the bleu-print of the Counts Chapel in Kortrijk
(where the work was shown).
As a whole it clearly refers to his inspiration and is imadiatly seen as an architypical churchbuilding.
The architecture is reduced to an open structure with milky white walls that licht up from within. 'Chapel' is in that way a work in which each of us can project their own beliefs and expectations.
